Julie Quist explains what Transformational Learning is and how this model has transformed our schools into what they are today. Much of the curriculum pushed in our schools – Common Core, Social Emotional Learning, Welcoming Schools, gender identity, social justice and now Critical Race Theory – has its roots in this transformative educational model. It will be well worth your time to listen to our CPL Webinar to understand this model and how it has been implemented in our schools one step at a time!
SEED Diversity Training
Is your school district using the SEED training program for K-12 educators? Under the banner of equity, diversity, and multiculturalism, SEED has been training teachers in the K-12 educational system across this nation since 1987! SEED, which stands for ‘Seeking Educational Equity and Diversity,’ planted the seeds for Critical Race Theory, equity, anti-Americanism, and pro-sexual diversity indoctrination we are witnessing today in our schools.
How many of your district’s teachers have been through this diversity training program? Ask them, even if you need to access it through an Open Records Request (PDF). SEED training is ‘continuing education,’ usually funded at taxpayer expense. Gain a better understanding of SEED through the resources below.
- Video: Seeds of Division (31 minute video)
How SEED diversity training planted the seeds of white privilege, gender Identity and Critical Race Theory that are dividing our culture and threatening our freedom. Presented by Barb Anderson

School Counselors – Sources of Indoctrination
The American School Counselor Association (ASCA) is training school counselors to indoctrinate children towards CRT and the Transgender Cult. This is taken directly from their schedule of sessions as part of the ASCA No Limits 2022 Conference.
|“It is an ‘expectation, not the exception’ for school counselors to integrate multiculturalism and social justice perspectives into their work as advocates and leaders.” – ASCA 2021 position statement|
ASCA trains school counselors to hide students’ sex and gender preferences from parents. They also partner with radical organizations such as GLSEN and bring in GSA clubs in K-12. These organizations advocate for:
- Pronoun and/or name changes to be hidden from parents
- Transition closets in the classroom without parental knowledge
- Sexually explicit books made available to students
- Transgender topics to be introduced in elementary school
WHAT CAN YOU DO?
- Do not allow your child to have any sessions with school counselors without your presence
- Fill out the 3-day demand form to ensure your participation in your child’s wellbeing. Form is on page nine of Behind Closed Doors, School Counselors are not the ones you grew up trusting (PDF)

Tips for Spotting Curriculum Red Flags
Child Protection League encourages you to critically evaluate the content of the curriculum in your child’s classroom. We have compiled a list of buzzwords and concepts we call ‘red flags’ that indicate the material has an underlying bias that your child may be exposed to.
SEL is the umbrella for many of the social engineering concepts that have infiltrated our schools such as Welcoming Schools, gender ideology, Critical Race Theory and Equity, Intersexuality, Comprehensive Sex Education as well as an invasive tool to gather information on your child.
Please go to Social Emotional Learning for detailed information, references and videos to learn more about SEL in the classroom.
Common Core Curriculum
- Study finds Historic Drop in National Reading and Math Scores Since Adoption of Common Core Curriculum Standards
- The Common Core Debacle, Results from 2019 NAEP and Other Sources (PDF)
- Common Core State Standards Initiative
Common Core curriculum was adopted as the national standard. There was opposition to implementing a curriculum from the national level over local control. As the recent studies show, Common Core has not accomplished the intended goal and, in fact, has gone in the opposite direction.
Critical Race Theory (CRT) and Equity
Is your child being taught these Marxist theories? Critical Race Theory and Equity are very similar in their ideology and end results. Did you know that Equity has been embedded in MN for decades and bubbling up with CRT? Read this Historical Account of how Equity has been embedded through regional, unelected governance and non-profits that have infiltrated every aspect of MN society from commissions to schools.
Equity is not the same as equality. Equity is tied to the term social justice. Equity means equal outcomes, which is very different from equal opportunities. Critical Race Theory definition according to Britannica is “the view that the law and legal institutions are inherently racist and that race itself, instead of being biologically grounded and natural, is a socially constructed concept that is used by white people to further their economic and political interests at the expense of people of color.”
Watch this 5 minute video from PragerU and then go to A Critical Look at Equity and Critical Race Theory for a one stop shop of information, resources and how to stand against these harmful theologies. Don’t delay!

Teachers are being trained to reconstruct sexuality and harm children by confusing them about the biology of boys and girls. Please be aware and check out your Opt Out options.

The previous administration developed the 1776 Commission which produced The 1776 Report to “enable a rising generation to understand the history and principles of the founding of the United States in 1776 and to strive to form a more perfect Union.” The report summarizes the principles of the American founding and how those principles have shaped our country with the goal of teaching these principles within our institutions.
The current administration on Day One rescinded this commission which is being replaced with curriculum that rewrites our history such as the Pulitzer Center’s The 1619 Project curriculum. Learn what this curriculum is really about at What’s Wrong with the 1619 Project? (5 minute video).
