The Village Marxists Plan to Raise Our Children
May 4, 2025
Back in 1996 when Hillary Clinton wrote her book It Takes a Village, the prevailing theme was an argument against parental rights. It promoted a collectivist approach to child rearing directed by a "benevolent" government. Initially the premise was widely rejected, but in the decades following its publication, we have seen steady and growing efforts by politicians and legislators to replace parents with their government solutions.
As of this writing, Democrats in the Minnesota legislature have proposed three bills which directly target fundamental parental rights. These onerous attacks appeared suddenly and late in the session, just in time to be slipped – without discussion – into omnibus spending bills that would fund entire state government departments. It is no coincidence these attack bills are showing up just as President Trump is taking strong action to protect parental rights, restore gender common sense, improve the health outcomes of children and eliminate shameful indoctrination pedagogies infesting public education.
In other words, the radicals running Minnesota are defying the President by directly targeting those who support him. The following bills are aimed at the heart of the base of Minnesota's resistance to the Marxist revolution.
The bills target:
- Educational freedom by removing longstanding support for private schools;
(Private School Leader Urges Parents to Speak Out as Walz Moves to cut Millions in Aid)
- Educational freedom by restricting home school options;
(Homeschool Legal Defense Association)
- Health freedom by removing longstanding conscientious exemptions to some childhood vaccinations.

The Marxist swamp is deeply embedded in the local government, classrooms, and courtrooms of blue states like Minnesota.
For example, when President Trump issued his Executive Order (EO) titled Ending Radical Indoctrination in K-12 Schooling, he identified DEI as illegal discrimination in violation of the equal protection clause of the U.S. Constitution and Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. This EO warned K-12 schools to end all DEI teaching, programs and practices, or risk losing their state's federal funding.
Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison, the 2018 candidate who aligned himself with Antifa, is challenging this Executive Order and leading a coalition of states to defy it. He wrote:
Nothing in the letter or FAQ changes existing law and well-established legal principles' that encourage schools to create diverse and accessible learning environments; the President cannot change longstanding legal precedent by executive order.
Keith Ellison shares a photo of himself holding the Antifa Anti-Fascist Handbook in 2018, claiming that it would "strike fear" into President Trump.
The Minnesota Dept of Education followed Ellison's lead. Commissioner Jett's letter to the federal Department of Education states:
To the extent that ED's apparently changed positions are inconsistent with the text of the relevant statutes or impose conditions on federal funding greater than or inconsistent with any conditions that Congress intended to impose, those changes would be unsupported by law. With this certification request, ED apparently seeks to establish binding legal rules upon Minnesota without the support of either the appropriate administrative procedure, congressionally enacted statut
e, or judicial precedent.
According to Education Week, Minnesota is one of 25 primarily Democrat-run states refusing the President's directive. They're counting on the corrupted courts to save them, courts that have become the judicial arm of the swamp.
Two federal district court judges have ruled in the swamp's favor and ordered an injunction against DOE efforts to withhold federal funding from K-12 schools that refuse to eliminate Illegal discriminatory DEI programs and policies
Judicial corruption in our nation is no secret. Both the Biden and Obama administrations packed the courts with Marxist sympathizers. While it may come as a shock to many, this civil coup has been brewing for decades. President Trump and his administration are challenging it head-on, because this IS the war for our freedom and our future. The Constitution is our ruler, not the courts, and the showdown has arrived.
While this fundamental constitutional crisis deepens, more parents have awakened to the insidious attacks on their children and their fundamental parental rights. As they try to exert them, many discover they have already been sidelined. Listen to this mom's testimony on behalf of her 11-year-old son who had to complete an illicit survey about his gender, sexual orientation, and sexual practices. She and the other parents had 'opted' their children 'out' of offensive and probing surveys, but the schools forced them on their children anyway.
Listen to Burlington, MA parent on graphic survey
Her righteous anger is spot on. As she said, since her son's birth she has been protecting his mind from totally inappropriate sexual grooming like this. Yet her elementary school violated all her protections in a single day.
The long-standing fundamental right of parents to direct the education of their children has been well established but is now routinely violated and challenged in the courts. Legal activists are seizing their moment to capitalize on the decades-long indoctrination of a society that is unable to comprehend the distinction between a fundamental God-given right and one that is "granted" or "adjudicated" by a court ruling.
Fundamentally transforming the culture by destroying the family has always been the primary goal of the Marxists. Stripping parents of their God-given rights is exactly the coup they need.
Therefore, the battle for our children and for the future of our nation must be engaged at all levels right now. President Trump cannot 'fix' education or the culture war alone. It will take ALL of us and it's not going to be easy. Our congressional leadership must pass legislation to effectively remove already illegal and discriminatory DEI from publicly funded classrooms and remove radical gender ideology indoctrination. State representatives must protect the rights of their constituents by passing laws that PROTECT their rights to create additional barriers against government overreach.
We the People cannot sit on the sidelines. Now more than ever, with President Trump's incredible support coming from the top, we must take advantage of this 'window of opportunity' to challenge leftist totalitarianism and shift the culture back to encouraging and protecting our children as well as our God-given rights. Learn, understand, challenge, engage, speak up, show up, become community leaders, and/or run for public office. Winning the culture war means showing up at school board meetings and legislative hearings. It means educating and inspiring our neighbors, friends and family to take action. It means contacting our state and federal representatives and demanding they stop behaving like obstructionists to President Trump's educational reforms, and instead DEMONSTRATE they are protectors of children, educational and health freedom, and parental rights by enacting his reforms into law.

Public schools are not SAFE for children.
There is nowhere to hide from a system designed to "fundamentally transform society" by "fundamentally transforming the culture" by "fundamentally transforming" the values, attitudes and beliefs of America's children. Parents – it is time to exit the public indoctrination schools wherever possible and to support those who do as well.
Summer is coming. Please use that time to find healthy and safe educational opportunities for your children, your grandchildren, and offer help to families who want to do the same.
