Dramatic Reversal of “Gender Healthcare”
In a shocking reversal, Children’s Minnesota hospital announced it is “pausing” its child sexual mutilation services.

Minnesota Public Radio (MPR) recently posted:
Children’s Minnesota announced Tuesday that it will temporarily pause prescribing puberty-suppressing medications and pubertal hormones to patients under the age of 18 in its Gender Health program. This decision will take effect on Feb. 27, if federal actions targeting pediatric health systems that provide this type of care remain unchanged.
A spokesperson for the hospital wrote in the statement that this was not the decision Children’s Minnesota wanted to make but felt it was necessary to protect its providers and the hospital. Health care teams have been in direct contact with families.
This is a dramatic about face! These highly politicized “Gender Health” programs and policies for children have been fiercely and aggressively defended, normalized and promoted from their beginnings. Any who challenged them were maligned as transphobic and bigoted.
The hospital points to “federal actions targeting pediatric health systems” as the reason for its dramatic turnaround. It’s true that the looming threat of cuts to federal funding is having a powerful impact. But the larger challenge for the child-mutilation business model is that its narrative has collapsed under the weight of mounting evidence and growing public awareness of so-called “gender health” practices—namely that they are experimental, irreversible, often result in lifelong pharmaceutical dependence, and carry serious, even fatal, risks. Further, over the long term they do not resolve the young person’s emotional distress. Finally, the providers and enablers are paying a price for lying to children and their families.
The tide has turned on “gender affirming healthcare” because it is being publicly exposed as no health care at all, and the perpetrators are beginning to be held accountable. The fraudulent medical industry has been exploiting and harming vulnerable minors for years. In November 2025, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services issued a press release and report stating:
“The American Medical Association and the American Academy of Pediatrics peddled the lie that chemical and surgical sex-rejecting procedures could be good for children,” said Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. “They betrayed their oath to first do no harm, and their so-called ‘gender-affirming care’ has inflicted lasting physical and psychological damage on vulnerable young people. That is not medicine — it’s malpractice.”
This long overdue development followed the 2024 exposure of the World Professional Association of Transgender Health (WPATH) as an organization that “does not meet the standards of evidence-based medicine.” WPATH members, according to the lawsuit, were “fully aware that children and adolescents cannot comprehend the lifelong consequences of “gender-affirming care.” This was narrative-crushing, because WPATH guidelines were considered the gold standard, and all mainstream organizations with direct influence on children followed them.” CPL wrote about this here and here.
The Cass Review followed the WPATH exposure and arrived at the same conclusions.
The MPR reporter is certainly acutely aware that a young woman named Fox Varian was just awarded $2 million in damages and $400K for future medical care in a landmark medical malpractice lawsuit against her New York psychologist and plastic surgeon. Fox Varian suffered from a cacophony of mental health issues including depression, anxiety, eating disorders, social phobias and autism. As a young girl she began identifying as a boy and underwent a double mastectomy at the tender age of 16 to “affirm” her male identify. The jury agreed that the doctors had committed serious malpractice and had “disfigured her for life.”
In an obvious case of journalistic “malpractice”, the MPR article doesn’t even bother to mention this precedent setting lawsuit! However, you can be confident that the threat of looming lawsuits by thousands of de-transitioners like Fox Varian have clinics like Minnesota Children’s shaking in their gender non-conforming boots.
This lawsuit is a massive victory for Fox Varian, a massive victory for parents, a massive victory for gender confused children, a massive victory for de-transitioners and a massive victory for science.
The lawsuit and Children’s hospitals’ reversal of its child mutilation services is also a massive indictment of Minnesota statute that prevents parents and children from seeking any other counselling services and psychological treatment for their gender confused children other than “affirmation only.”
In March of 2023, Governor Walz declared Minnesota a “trans-sanctuary state,” thereby making Minnesota a magnet for the sexual mutilation of gender confused children. Following Walz’s lead, Minnesota’s Democrat-controlled legislature banned these children from pursuing all other options. Gender-rejecting counsel, wrong sex hormone treatments and sex-mutilating surgeries is all Minnesota allows families and their children. This law is still in effect, and it must be repealed!
The magnitude of Fox Varian’s successful case is already changing the messaging of the entire gender healthcare industry. The American Medical Association (AMA) and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, longtime proponents of sex rejecting treatments and surgeries for minors, are suddenly saying surgical interventions in minors should be deferred to adulthood.
This is the start of the complete collapse we and so many others have been working and praying for. But the providers aren’t changing willingly. Children’s Minnesota made it clear they were forced into the “pause.” It was not a decision they wanted to make.
The Trump administration has taken the position that gender healthcare has been “peddled as a lie” and that this lie has caused irreversible harm to hundreds of children. This is observably true. As this truth comes out, the public is finding its voice, and a tidal wave of cases like Fox Varian’s are coming.
Well done, Fox Varian. God speed to you and others like you who have the courage to face their mutilators and hold them accountable for their atrocities. May medicine free itself from the evil grip of gender-identity “healthcare” and recommit to its original pledge of “first do no harm.”
