Beware! (content warning to parents)
A community educator for Planned Parenthood has created Amaze that produced online cartoon shorts that appeal to children and adolescents, but the content goes even beyond Comprehensive Sex Education materials. This is an initiative led by Advocates for Youth, Answer and Youth Tech Health.
Amaze is a huge collection of cute videos targeting children and adolescents that are pure Comprehensive Sex Education. You can view some of these videos at AMAZE – Age appropriate puberty and sex education videos. Not all their numerous videos are included on their site.
Below are three of their videos on porn:
- Should I feel bad about watching porn?
Note, even YouTube removed this video for violating YouTube’s Community Guidelines and yet it is being shown to children!
This is another video on Are you ready to have sex? Notice they also depict boy and boy, girl and girl. “Others may have opinions about whether you’re ready, but only you can know.” So, they are completely normalizing sex for minors, giving the message that there are no moral or ethical components involved, no checking what your parents or church allow, and that minors are fully equipped to make these life-changing decisions on their own.
Amaze also puts out a monthly eye-catching email promoting their wares.
This is a sample email from last August. If you scroll down toward the middle, they are promoting GLSEN, the most radical and prominent gender activist group in the country. GLSEN sets up GSA (Gay Clubs) in high schools all around the country and they have been instrumental in getting gender fluid ideology into K-12 schools in Minnesota and around the country. Amaze is promoting GLSEN’s “new Inclusive Learning Research Brief that underscores the power of inclusive instruction and educational materials for LGBTQ+ youth–and the need for advocates and educators to rise up against ongoing efforts to censor inclusive learning in K-12 schools.”
In last March’s email, they are promoting over-the-counter birth control without a prescription.
In last February’s email, they promoted a S.L.A.M. Conference (Sexuality Liberators and Movers) from R.I.S.E. (Radically Intentional Sexuality Education).
I am committed to revolutionizing sexuality education through an anti-colonial, liberatory lens. My mission is to reimagine and create innovative educational frameworks that serve learners throughout their lifetime, empowering them with knowledge and agency while dismantling the oppressive impacts of colonialist and capitalist structures within non-profit organizations and reproductive health.
I believe that education is a powerful tool for liberation and social change. By centering the experiences and voices of marginalized communities, I aim to challenge dominant narratives and systems that perpetuate inequality and harm. My approach prioritizes intersectionality, recognizing the interconnectedness of race, gender, sexuality, and other social identities in shaping individuals’ experiences of sexuality and health.
Through collaborative partnerships with educators, activists, and community organizations, I strive to co-create culturally responsive and inclusive curricula that honor diverse perspectives and lived experiences. I am committed to fostering critical thinking, empathy, and resilience in learners, equipping them with the tools to navigate complex social realities and advocate for their own health and well-being.
The Amaze Sex Education Conference last year is an example of merging Comprehensive Sex Education with “systemic racism” and so-called “racial justice.” It’s woke education from start to finish. On their Sex Ed Conference Series page, you can play and watch their presentations.
Advocates for Youth are authors of the Amaze videos. Advocates for Youth is also developed the 3Rs curriculum (Rights, Respect, Responsibility). Here are a few references for that curriculum:
- Advocates for Youth are co-authors of the National Sex Education Standards, along with SIECUS (SIECUS and Planned Parenthood work together.)
- The teacher resource page for the AMAZE videos.
- About the National Sex Education Standards, New Common Core Sex Ed Standards Will Force Graphic Sex and Abortions on Kids,
Amaze looks and sounds so “educational” but in reality, they are grooming our children as early as kindergarten. Please beware of the influence Amaze and Planned Parenthood have in the classroom whether it is curriculum, in person presentations, or cutesy cartoon videos!
